I popped in to Hein's new shop and despite the smell of paint and glue, what a pleasure it was.
Dedicated plush listening rooms - and possibly the first vendor with a new dedicated headphone room. The HT room was still under construction but looking inside it was quite obvious that it was serious build.
I have heard the top BW diamonds before - I always perceived them to be nice but not nice enough to spend money on. In the new new listening environment it was a different story. I was bowled over - stunningly smooth with very deep bass driven by an upgraded Titan Synthesis V2 100 watt valve amp using a Naim Atom streamer. I was shocked by what a difference the bigger room made and by how good the valve amp sounded with the big speakers.
Next door were the 1 Bar Marten Loudspeakers - even better than the BW !
I suspect the new audio emporium is bound to become a feast for eyes and ears for any audiophile.
