We are planning on renovating the GF's apartment TV/Lounge area with a new TV etc...
She is used to, and I'm fed up, watching TV shows and movies with the built in speakers.
In my cupboard I have 2 sets of 5x speakers for an old Pioneer system and a Wharfdale system who's amps went bust. The wharfdale speakers looks nice... Tiny, dark wood with grey speaker covers..
What would you guys recommend for getting us up and running? 5.1 would be ideal, although I would have to pick up a subwoofer as well since I have none.
ps. She lives in an apartment complex, so we don't need the system to go too loud. Something small and conservative should do the trick. But maybe getting something future proof is not such a bad idea.
