El cheapo cd player to use with v-dac

I already own a v-dac that I use with my pc.  I want to know if it will yield good results if I partner it with a super cheap cd or dvd player (I have decided my computer is too noisy).  My definition of cheap is the cheapest thing with coaxial out.

What are the issues I should be aware of and am I better off buying a cd player on the forums for R1500?
