Hi guys
I have this 948 for a while and decided to try get it running. First issue I found was a faulty power switch that I sorted quickly.
Problem now is as I turn it on the platter starts spinning backwards. Pressing any of the buttons has no effect.
Does anyone have spare cards or is willing to let me swap out cards to find the fault? Is there anyone who could dig through the service manual and help me diagnose it?
My alternative is to ship the cards to europe and await a huge bill.
