Specifically when it comes to speakers and amplification (I expect digital sources to be more fluid for the foreseeable future).
If you've reached the end-game, please share with us how you arrived there - i.e., went through mountains of gear before settling; took opportunities to learn what you like by demoing various gear and made careful purchases; feel like you've reached Shangri-La; just got g**vol and gave up 'chasing the dragon'?
I'd like to hear from members who are there now - those who cannot see themselves changing components anytime soon, purely for sonic reasons.
Or is this just another ever-receding horizon?
