There's this retired Telkom technician that runs a hi-fi shop & car fitment centre locally. He's my friend and is very skilful and knowledgeable with electronics.
He has a modest system made up of an old Rotel RB 930 integrated stereo amp driving Boston Acoustics HD7 bookshelf speakers. All his music is sourced from his desktop computer.
What amazes me every time I listen is how sweet the sound is. I don't know how to describe it but is so awesome likesome high end system s I have heard. Unfortunately what the trick is a closely guarded secret by my bud.
I suspect maybe a very good sound card is the answer here I don't. Maybe I can be enlightened here as I'm really clueless and not so much clear wrt tweaking and stuff like that.
