  I'm looking for some advice about fine tuning my audio setup.  I've recently made the decision to go dedicated 2 channel, instead of trying to convince myself that my AV setup actually delivered good sound quality.  So I now have the following: Breeze Audio DAC - Aragon 18K Preamp - Adcom GFA 535 power amp, along with B&W 602 S3 speakers (and a PSB Subzero sub).  I play mostly flacs (and some hi-res) via Foobar.

While the sound quality that I'm able to get out of the B&W 602's is a 200% improvement on what it was before, I find the sound a little bright (not quite sharp...) and I suspect that its the Aragon/Adcom combo.  The Aragon is extremely neutral and perhaps I need something that brings a little more body and texture to the party.  Ideally I want more mids and more texture/timbre... ( not fanatical about extreme lows and more interested in depth in lower frequencies..)

I would appreciate some advice - do I look at changing my speakers (sell wife, kids and cat for Spendors) - or do I go for valve preamp..????
