Hi guys, I've been browsing on the site for some time now and I don't understand FLAC, I have plenty of FLAC files already and the sound is amazing as I do understand that it is uncompressed/lossless format that brings out a lot more instrumentals. The problem I have is I don't know where it comes from originally? Can I take my Deff Leppard cd's and just ripp them in a flac format like I always did with mp3's? Would I then get the full effect of a flac file? I am asking this as I am not able to find some of my favourite bands in flac format.
