I managed to source an Fostex Lab 300 power amp, everything inside is untouched and stock and it sounds beautiful.
Due to age I decided to inspect the inside of unit and found only a few electrolytic caps " that`s nice", i check the BIAS according to manual and it is only 2.5mv on both channels instead of 5-10mv. I followed process to increase but both channels reach only 2.8mv max over drain resistors, I replaced small electrolytic caps but still the same so its not that but because its on both channels it have a common fault.
One can be that both my Fluke meters and leads is not in shape or there is a fault on the amp, does anybody have success with these units because i believe there is a modification for this.
