So, all was well up here, close to the north pole, until Stu starts the quest for new power amp/amps.
I don?t need a new amp, very satisfied with the ML I use, but the urge to find a FM Acoustics was awoken again.
Worse problem thou is on the speaker side, have used those for a long time.
The serial number implies that I have used those since 2013 and that is correct, and they do play music in a very good way, does a good 20 Hz in this room (~11x6.5 meters) but is there some kind of life missing?
Pretty low efficiency, around 93 Db, and two 6.5" drivers really dont move that much air.
Whats the route out of this corner? Keeping the LF extension but with more live/life to the music?
First thought is go back here.
Very fun, imense lf power and half decent efficiency, 100 dB, can?t be done thou, that 21" lf driver is out of production.
