Garrard 301 refurbishment - worth it?

I've re-discovered a Garrard model 301 turntable in my workshop, with a model 2400 "all balance" pickup arm. No plinth, and the mat has got some damage.
Is it worth refurbishing and if so is there anyone in SA that can do this?
