Finally got around to doing the glass enclosure for my SRPP. Didn't turn out quite as I'd envisaged ... wasted a huge number of hours drawing it in FreeCAD, a really powerful open source CAD package. Only problem is ... like so many really powerful open source packages it sucks balls. Loads of powerful features, abysmal interface with infinite bugs (and the usual hostile and defensive dev community). Sigh. Open source.
So had to just hack it with some sketches ... and made a bunch of mistakes. Which I've made before on previous builds. Sigh. Me.
Anyway --- feast your eyes. It looks pretty cool ... still have to get some brass trim plates laser cut (to hide the bigger mistakes) on the SRPP and the F5s. And some aesthetic art.
