Going for a bigger centre speaker- worth it or not?

I currently run a Polk set up with a set of RTi8's in the front, a set of RTiA3's in the rear and a CSi3 centre. When I purchased the system, this mix of speakers was recommended to me by Sounds Great. I have found a CSi5 centre speaker for sale at a reasonable price (R2000) and I was wondering if it would be beneficial to my system to go for a larger centre? Are there any downsides to doing this?
