Now I have finally sorted out all my pop, hisses, buzzes and hums I need to get some good vinyl. Most of the stuff I have feels light and flimsy and not very well made.

Music type doesn't really bother me too much as I like most.

In case anyone is interested in what finally seemed to sort out my issues I did the following.

1. Re-wired all my equipment with new plugs and re-cut all the wires
2. Tested the wall socket for phase and earth, tested fine
3. Installed a surge protection multi-plug from Ellies

Also got some new gear so I finally have a decent setup.

Thorens TD125
Graham Slee Era Gold V
Plinius 2100i integrated

And it does sound very nice now, I am happy. Just need a decent set of dedicated stereo speakers and I'm done.
