Anybody out there with knowledge of this amp, HELP NEEDED!
I live here in Australia, and when i saw one of these come up on eBay recently I bought it...
On receiving the amp, I opened it (before connecting) to discover one of the PL519 tubes was white and has obviously blown.
I have purchase a new pair of PL519's at great expense but have discovered to additional problems while trying to install them.
1) There is a green wire coming off the "0" tap of the mains transformer loose (I can't see where it should be resoldered).
2) The tube that is damaged seems to be short of an extra wire. On the other 3, there are 3 pins (2,7 and 9) connected to earth? Pin 7 on this tube is open...
Any assistance would be most appreciated!
