Sorry if this request can be found in other discussions, but i was wondering what would make a great pairing for the above combo, at a reasonable price.
Senn HD800 (SDR mod) + Topping D50s DAC
I have the Magni 3+, but selling that as its too bright and removes the Oomph of the HD800's, so im currently using the D50s + Xduoo XD-05 as the Amp. But im looking for something with a bit more... synergy.
D50s + Magni 3+ = D50s has awesome detail and nice soundstage... but thin 'tinny' sound with no impact
Xduoo XD-05 with burson V5i Opamp = Deeper, impact sound but slow and lacking speed/clarity
D50s + XD-05 as amp = Detail, but the amp just feels like its not keeping up with the DAC (If that makes sense)
I was looking at a nice budget tube AMP like the Vali 2, Or Xduoo TA-05. I know its really cheaping out on the HD800 but its stopgap for now until i can invest in something better towards the end of the year.
What would go nicely with the above?
