If you, like me, missed out on the wooden 'omega' headphone stands, here is something I found at Incredible Connection today. Made from some acrylic it gives you the same shape and fits my headphones quite well - perhaps a little narrow and light weight but seems alright for only R199. Maybe one could glue it to a heavier base...
