So the amp worked fine, the power was disconnected for a couple of weeks and when I plugged it back in the protection kicked in after a few seconds of outputting sound. I disconnected all input/output and it is still happening, so it is not a short of some sort. After checking with a multimeter it is obvious that there is a really strong DC voltage on the one channel. :sd: :sd: :sd:
I am looking for someone to take a look at the amp and maybe fix it. Is there someone in Cape Town (Northern / Southern Suburbs) who would be able to help me or direct me to someone who could help?? :'(
