Help needed - Martin Logan's

I am trying to assist my dad with his Martin Logan Ascent's, they have lost there tops and mids. They are currently boom boxes with a cool mesh screen

Is there someone local that can restore them back to their former glory?

I did my best, was in contact with Martin Logan directly ( very good service ) they suspected that the transformers where faulty and sent me new transformers free of charge but unfortunately no luck. The last resort was to take the panels for a shower which I did and then there was life but they have degraded again. Some one mentioned that the caps needed to be changed but I don't know.
