So loadshedding took my preamp out last week. Tech is not confident to get it back to life. Remote is not working and the amp stays in mute.
Insurance asked for a report and replacement quote. This is where the question starts. Classe offers excellent phono stage XLR in and out, remote. It is not drilled for rack mounting, but it does fit nicely with the wider faceplate and its black. Usual suspects that can be connected. Tape ( Reel to Reel in and out ) Auxiliray, radio, Phono, Cd and the important one, the selector for Balance in. This In accomodates another pre amp that acts as a multi switch with all the other tape decks and streamers.
Any pointers? I guess the usual stores like E-piphany can source what I need. Thing is, I don't what that will be. I have no need to go overboard here, I just want a amp with the same features.
