I have made my first diy sub build, but I am having trouble getting deep bass. All I hear is mid bass. I bought a low end 10" Infinity sub-woofer driver and made a 1.45 cubic ft box for it using supawood. Apparently no Thiele/Small specifications came with the driver. Its in a sealed box and I didn't put any damping material inside, could this be the reason? Or maybe I need to change to a ported design. What port size would I require? TIA. Let me know.
Almost forgot to tell that I am using a car amp for testing purposes.
