HELP with pioneer vsx 520

Greetings,

I just purchased a pioneer vsx 520. I hooked it up last night, but i'm not getting any picture on the TV.

Basically, I connected my top tv decoder using the TV/SAT Audio in and Video in RCA ports on the receiver, and then connected the receiver to my TV using an HDMI cable.
I get sound through my speakers but no picture on the TV.

The TV is a Sony Bravia KDL-40EX400.

Any help would be appreciated.
