Hi there and re decent audio and visual shops in durban

Hi there.

I'm currently a part time student living on the south coast of Natal, and if anyone has ever had the pleasure of visiting here they will know everything is a mix extortionate prices, no products and abysmal service everywhere, so was wondering what shops people used in the Durban area (nearest form of civilisation) that are decent and reputable.

Looking to buy my first decent stereo system, for the moment to play FLAC files through my media PC (CD Player and turntable to come at a later stage), on a budget of about 16.5k, not an exceptional amount, but I assure you quite a sum for a student, and was wondering what people would recommend and if guys have setups on a similar budget would share what they bought...
