Anecdotally, in no particular order (and mods feel free to move this if this topic has been covered), men who are into "Hi Fi" are also into cars and watches. Cars, Hi Fi and watches is the golden triumvirate of male hobbies.
These are in fact what I am into to varying extents whether it's following it academically or actually participating in it. Clearly there's a cash flow constraint with these particular hobbies. I'll keep away from the more esoteric stratospheric hobbies that require and AMEX Black card like yachting and sailing.
