Glad to let everyone know that the awards winning dacs from Holo Audio can now be ordered from Airmusic.
The Holo Audio range span from the Cyan, the Spring and the May and they can be ordered on a number of spec levels from the baseline model to the highly tuned Level3. It goes without saying that the DACs are all R2R ladder dacs, as that is the kind of dacs that I think is best sounding for redbook playback, that but what makes them interesting is that they also include DSD capable circuit that does not convert the DSD files to PCM but is processed through a seperate circuit optimised around DSD. So the best of both worlds so to speak.
The dacs have gained much recognition across the globe and although by now yard cheap are they cheap I do think now I have an affordable option availible of a well designed R2R dac range that coincidentally also measures very well.
These links to views from Stereophile are a good introduction to the brand for those who have not heard of Holo Audio.
