A friend of mine is looking at getting himself HT systems for 2 rooms but most importantly he wants to automate his house. There's endless possibilities to automations but he's looking at controlling lighting, airconditioning, alarm system and other gizmos that are associated with automation and also playing 2nd and 3rd zones in other rooms in the house but feeding from the 2 HT systems and having centrally located touch screen panels to control everything from.
This is not a cheap way to go but one is always looking at avoidig breaking the bank when doing this. One of the well known hifi shops in Sandton ( I wont mention the name) has quoted him about R70 000 just for the automation. Me thinks thats hectic. Whowould you suggest around gauteng that can do a project like this at a 3rd world country price.
