Some of us (like me) have undergone hearing tests at an audiologist with the headphones.
I tried an interesting experiment. I played one of the tone tracks from an XLO Reference recording CD meant to test the system and it goes from around 20Hz up to above 20KHz and did this thru a 10 band Graphic Equalizer.
You can clearly see each frequency as it's going thru and I couldn't hear the last bar on the Equalizer which was 16kHz. So my top end hearing is between 8 - 16kHz which is about right for my age. If I can make a video on this, I will
