Hi, I'm hoping someone has done some homework on this.
We've had a Canon Maxify MB2740 for some years now. It is the biggest piece of junk I have possibly ever owned in my life.
I need something that can do occasional printing in both black and white and colour, and that can also scan documents, preferably with a document feeder.
Not looking for exquisite photo quality, but I need something that prints when it needs to print (i.e. not spend 10 mins first cleaning the heads, or takes 15mins to print a 20 page document), and that doesn't need a mortgage when you have to replace ink.
Obviously I will never ever buy a Canon printer again.
Any recommendations that balances performance and economy for occasional home/office use?
