I'm trying to help some friends locate their electricity meter, there's a new meter reader and he can't find the meter.
They rent and the owners of the property have never lived there and have no clue where the meter is.
Problem is they normally pay around R1500/pm for electricity but their latest bill estimates R15000 is owing, that may be due to them using the historic bill record, that's the kind of bill the previous tenants ran up when running a business from the same property.
I've searched the perimeter of the property and looked around the db board but no luck so far, I can't even find the water meter for that matter. The electricity meter has been read previously whilst they have lived there so it is there somewhere.
