Hi all,
Looking for opinions and personal experiences from our learned members here!

Here's what I know so far - its all TI Silicon...
USB Controller: TI TAS1020B (same as Audioengine D1)
DAC: TI PCM1793 (same as Musiland Monitor 01 US)
OPAMP: TI OPA2132
Headphone amp: TI TPA6130A2
It does asynchronous transmission over USB out of the box, no drivers needed and caps out at 24/96
Oh and, has little LEDs on it saying what sample rate is coming in
Only USB in and Headphone out.
I do know, that the implementation matters as much as the hardware so its not just a specs evaluation I am looking for I wish I could try it locally but that probably won't happen. Would like to sell it if I don't like it
As @Deezil has said, there is that one headphone and dac combination that will make all the difference in the world
