The front (door-mounted) speakers in my old 1998 Forester are getting a bit too buzzy and rattly and it's time to drop in a new pair. The car radio is a regular Alpine unit with on-board amp.
Are the 'classic' Pioneer 6" co-ax drivers still a good choice - I see them at Makro, etc - or are there better options?
Budget is R500 tops.
