Ideal home theatre room size?

Hi all,


I am in the process of building additions to my home and was wondering what the ideal rooom szie for home theatre
should be. I have certain constraints due to other rooms being built but I have around 8.5 meteres in length by 5.7m in width. The ceiling height will be 2.6m.

The last thing I want is a room that is not acoustically suitable to start with. ( I can make the room slightly bigger or smaller)

Anybody have home theatre room dimensions that they would like to share?
