I read this one article on part time audiophile of a guy with a battery powered mac mini , dac, and amplifier.
What caught me was the battery powered mac mini . It was something I thought about for many years powering my NUC with a battery, but i never got around to it. Kept trying to think how to charge battery when not in use. So today i finally pulled the plug got a 7ah battery chopped some wires , joined some wires .
and plugged it in and sat down to listen to some music. Pressed Play on some Cohen and Wow! wow !wow !. Another dimension .
I wish i had done this sooner. The best R189 I have spent on audio.
