In-ceiling Surround Speakers

Morning all,

Due to WAF issues I am looking to install some in-ceiling surround speakers. Has anyone here had any experience with either the Monitor Audio CT380FX or the Klipsch PRO-7502-S-THX? Are they a complete waste of time compared to wall mounted bipoles or a reasonable compromise?
