I'm going to swap out the XLR inputs on my amp with RCAs. For that configuration, both the XLR Ground and Cold Signal connections on the buffer board are to be occupied by the RCA Ground/Shield:
My question is this, instead of using a regular RCA cable and splitting the shield thin across the two connectors, any issue with connecting a separate, thicker gauge braided wire to the RCA input to make a stronger connection when split out at the receiving end?
