Does anyone now where one can obtain a battery for an iPod without going through an iStore or Apple Doctor store. One can no longer import directly or via sites like importitall.co.za. The actual replacing of the battery is a 3-5 minute job, but the Apple Doctor stores expects you to leave your iPod with them for a day or 2 because "they guarantee their repairs and therefore have to fully access your device". Sounds like bullsh*t to me, simply taking loads of time to justify their price and probably snoop through whatever you have on your device. It also means having to travel back and forth twice and it is even worse if you go to an iStore as they send it away, probably to Apple Doctor.
