Regarding search results, I notice that they are in no type of order, neither relevance nor chronological. Is there no way of improving results when doing a general forum search on a topic?

Searches, thus far, for me, have been either fruitless or painstaking..
Is this a limitation of the forum software, a configuration issue or just a user issue on my part?
