Is it possible for different hard surfaces to affect bass drastically?

We re-tilled our house (so tiles to other tiles) - but now the bass in my rooms seems... emtpy.... no longer shaking windows and doors.  Tried moving the subs - didn't make a difference, reran audyssey, reset the receiver, etc.

Thought maybe something had happened to both subs, so tried playing just the RTi A9s... same thing...

Besides the tiles, nothing else in the room has changed, curtains, carpets, etc all in the same place.
