This has happened twice. I like many follow certain well known and genuine Youtube channels and every so often post a comment. Twice now I've received a message from the channel "owner" liking my comment and inviting me to communicate on Telegram (always Telegram, never Whatsapp) and after a few messages, with each of us complimenting the other, they make an offer (gift) of a cell phone or something similar which seems to end in needing to pay customs or something to "receive the gift".
This is a scam right ?
What I find odd is that the channel owners are not seeing and banning this practice.
IF a scam, these scammers actually reply to my posts on the Youtube comments section and use the channel owners name and picture as their handles.
I'm convinced this is a scam and info for guys to look out for.
