I needed to test my gate remote battery and found my multimeter like this. Looks like silver coating that sort of rotted while it was in the cupboard for a few years. The battery is finished, of course, tested with my tongue, I can only just feel it. So, will it still work, or should I pass getting a new battery and go directly to get a new DMM?
