The team that arranged the successful CTHFE2022 last year invite all to join us in what we plan to be an exciting day of music, conversations, meeting old friends and finding new ones whilst being entertained by fine HiFi systems and carefully curated playlist in Johannesburg.
Those of you that were at the ProAc festival in 2019 would recognise the venue and have a taste of the experience. This year we are planning to showcase some interesting products that we believe are not part of the mainstream hifi scene; you won't find this at big fancy commercial malls or big hypermarkets. We call it the "fringe" experience and are excited about the products from countries such as Poland, Czech, France and Scandinavia, and some of the best of what China offers.
We hope to see many of the forum members. The venue is excellent, parking is ample, and on top of it, it is free. Bring your partners and come and warm your hearts and soul with good music rendered by carefully selected systems. We promise there will be no boring A/B blind testing - just great music being played in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
Music will warm your mid-winter cold feet, although it might be worthwhile to add that although the city of gold has no mountain or coastline, our blue skies winter days are superb, so even those from far afield might consider making a weekend break from the wet and cold parts of the country.
We are looking forward to meeting you in two weeks' time in Rosebank as per the invite.
