I really did not want to, but I have to share this with you.
Maybe you have been there before. When you have tried everything and the "sound thing" is just not happening.
You loose all interest in listening to your favorite music because it just sounds bad. Moved the components one after the other, hoping for that magic change to happen. Thinking about all the "good stuff" that you should have kept and so on.
Then as a last resort you will try it once more. I have had some reasonably good to great gear in my room but I never really liked the sound. Knowing that my room needs lots of treatment, I thought if it sounds good in a bad room, it will be worth the while to sort the room.. But it just never happened.
Enter the Avalon Opus speakers... Wow, wow wow again.
All is well again. These are staying.
Just thought I will share this. These are not very well known speakers, but they need to be...
