Hi guys,
I want to mount my Pearl cart on the original headshell on my JVC TT. Aaand then I can get the Pioneer headshell back on the Pioneer TT where it belongs. Current arrangement is less than ideal as this headshell is a bit short for the arm so a bit of balance weight was needed to set the tracking weight properly. (see pic... don't laugh... the weight works very well... )
Sooo... Below is the original jvc headshell, problem is the mounting screws are juuuust not long enough to grip the thread on the top holes if I mount the Pearl. I need screws that are just 1 mm longer than the stock supplied with the Pearl. Or an alternative suggestion for a headshell... Your thoughts?
And then, on a completely different note, I need a cleaning solution for both LP's and Styli. I have a nice record cleaning brush for the usual brushing off before / after playing. Other than that I am currently washing records, with fair results, but I cant seem to get all the dust out of the grooves, especially on older LP's. Also I have nothing to clean styli with...
Any suggestions?
