From years back, I had a set of Jamo C603?s with some cabinet damage. They lay around for ages, and since Jacque was building me the record stands and high cabinet, asked him to replicate the cabinets and improve on some basics.
Here?s how the story goes.
Replicating the front baffles.
The baffles, front and back.
The replica laying on top of the original.
Driver test fitting.
Internal brace, much more substantial than the original ?stick?.
Rear cut-outs for connections/crossover and port.
Looking inside.
Routing the vertical lines.
Paint Prep.
Primed and sanded flat again.
And again...
1st coat.
2nd coat...
And final...
A light flat and hand polishing still to be done, but looking like a sweet little set of speakers!
Will finish off with original badging, and some decent feet.
