My New Year started with my Koetsu Red deciding to silence it's left channel! It started in mid-Decmeber with playing up with intermittent silence from one channel which disappeared after pulling the phono pluggs out and plugging it in again at low volume. Then on 2 Jan whilst listening to an lp it suddenly sounded like a skipping cd with a stuttering sound and then dead silence from the left! Took my Linn to my test bed with a NAD 3020 and Linn Kans - confirmation the left channel is dead. I then fitted a Benz Ruby MC 2OE L to my Linn (Lingo 4, Karousel} and I am amazed about the sound coming from this Linn, NAD, Kan setup! With Koetsu not in production anymore - what now? Any experience from members re. repair on Koetsu or recommendations for a suitable replacement?
