Just read the latest review on the Blu-Rays. I was interested in getting a player later in the year. , and guess it was luck that sent this review along...
My requirements:
Very good visuals and sound.
3D not crucial
Internet goodies not crucial, like streaming and web goodies...
For me its bang-for-buck as well.
My eye was actually also on the Pioneer BDP-LX55. (yes and i do mean the LX55)
Strange that they did not review it this round.
I think it falls in the same price range or a bit cheaper. Does it not?
Marantz and OPPO and Denon too expensive i think for me personally.
And specs-wise, the Onkyo does not match up..
I see Philips has one as well that they developed for this market. Philips BDP 9600
Need to keep an eye open...
