Spent hours tonight speaking to [member=3654]udwadia[/member] on the forum from Capetown. We were discussing everything audio from upgrades to horns. He was telling me about a good friend that spent a fortune on upgrading his system from amps, preamplifiers, speakers and even the cables. Prior to upgrading he had a very good system the said gent then proceeded to spend mega bucks on the best his current manufacturers had in their range (Flagship).
After the multiple upgrades and ridiculous amounts of money being spent our gent was asked, so how does it compare to your last system? "Well I hear things now that I didn't before BUT I still enjoyed my last system, it played normal music well!"
As per the heading, honestly was the last upgrade worth the spend? Or are we chasing cars?
