I want to bi amp my spirits , my Devialets have a variable preamp output and the facility to adjust the pre output from 0.2v to 4v
So I intend using the 500w devialets on my mids and treble and am inserting a 600w Class D amp in for the bass.
Problem is level/gain matching them
I assume its as easy as playing , lets say , a 150hz tone , turning my digital multimeter to AC voltage measurement and measuring across the speaker terminals of each amp and adjusting the pre output (the 0.2 to 4v setting) so that the bass amp reads the same as the devialet?
