LG SMART TV NOT SO SMART

I have purchased  a LG Smart TV- 47 LM6710 in Feb this year from Dion Wired.Last week i tried to download the Netflix app to the tv-seems impossible  according to my research on the net.Also the Youtube app is not user friendly ,prefer using my Samsung S3 for Youtube  & then stream this to the tv.Smart functions & apps really need a make-over
