Hi there,
I have spoken to folks at AV stores, I have searched the internet, and still I cannot find a definitive word on what is the ideal sand to use when filling speaker stands.
Here on the forum, some people have suggested kitty litter; someone else suggested dried beach sand; another recommendation I've heard is silica sand.
I'd prefer to go with experience. Is there anyone who cares to share their success stories with filling speaker stands with sand (or possibly even some other substance)? You'd be helping out this forumite in a big way.
PEACE,
'crusha
